ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Bob McNabb is passionate for Jesus and His glory among all peoples. Seeing the church mobilized to unreached people groups is his vision and motivation behind all he does.

Bob has been helping others multiply their lives on campus, in the marketplace, and through the church for more than thirty years. It was through firsthand experience in life-on-life discipleship that Bob’s understanding of spiritual multiplication was honed. His heart is to see the whole church equipped and mobilized to labor together for the spread of God’s glory among all peoples.

He graduated from Samford University with a vision to raise up and lead a team to the unreached. After several years of ministry with Campus Outreach, Bob, his wife Susan, and the rest of their long-term team launched to Thailand in 1990. Thailand became home and the place where all three of their daughters were born. Ten years of planting churches and campus ministries in Bangkok and upcountry resulted in Bob having worked himself out of a job. God then called the McNabbs back to the States to serve as missionary trainers and mobilizers, including a two-year stint in Puerto Rico, training missionaries in a cross-cultural context.

Bob holds a Masters of Missions from Birmingham Theological Seminary and a doctorate in leadership from Columbia Biblical Seminary and School of World Missions. He has done extensive research into contextual and behavioral factors that influence effectiveness in disciple-making.

Bob has been a missions pastor and seminary professor, served with the U.S. Center for World Mission and the Center for Mission Mobilization, and now serves as the CEO Emeritus of Launch Global, a missions mobilization ministry. Bob and Susan currently reside in Alabama.
